[Enewsday Kim Tae-hyeong reporter] Dermafirm, specialized in export-based Derma Cosmetics, has held a ceremony on last 11th to mark the completion of the large-scale new plant in Wonju Enterprise city.

More than 100 guests attended the ceremony including the Mayor of Wonju city Changmook Won, CEO of Dermafirm Hoon Cha and Dermafirm’s executives and employees.

The ceremony was held in the following order: guest introduction, company introduction video, Congratulatory Address from CEO Hoon Cha and Wonju Mayor.

Dermafirm has moved its Seongnam plant to Wonju Enterprise city for the purpose of expanding production capacity, improving the working environment and entering new businesses. The new site is approximately 135,230 sqft with 4 stories above ground and designed as a state-of-the-art smart factory capable of one-stop production of filling, packing and packaging which allows to produce more than 2,500 tons annually.
After the completion of new plant, all the manufacturing facilities are extended and moved to test operation and the completion ceremony was held on October 11th.

Dermafirm has peptide and medical equipment production facilities in Wonju plant as well as a warehouse that can store more than 400 tons of cosmetics and state-of-the-art facilities and systems for logistics. All processes, equipment and facilities meet ISO (CGMP) standards to ensure excellent quality and stability.

Wonju Enterprise city is a complex city of housing, commerce and industry built by Wonju city and a joint project operator, Wonju Enterprise City (SPC), as a knowledge-based enterprise city pilot project in Wonju, Gangwon province. While it serves as a hub city of the high-tech medical industry as well as a transportation hub of the Yeongdong highway and the central highway, it attracts cutting-edge of medical research, pharmaceuticals and health-bio industries as a central commercial function with easy access to Wonju and the metropolitan area.
